The forecast called for a tropical rainstorm, but God gave us clear weather yesterday as our church gathered for food, fun, fellowship, and a time of remembrance to honor those who have served in the defense of our country. We were reminded that just as the liberties we enjoy today were purchased with the blood of soldiers who fought for our freedom, the redemption of our sins and our future in heaven was purchased with the blood of our savior Jesus Christ.
